23 weeks: Karen and Paul's wedding

We had a busy week of getting settled in our new place, Randall and Sophie came in on Thursday night, and then we headed down to Mt. Shasta for Karen and Paul's wedding. Whew!
He pooped on the Giants. Oops! I should have gotten Dodgers diapers.
Practicing her alphabet, she's doing really well!
:) "Ruby is teaching Reid how to spell." Poor Reid wants to be able to read so bad, like his sister. He got all upset the other day because "Daddy said he would teach me how to read and then he didn't." Sorry buddy, it takes more than one day to learn to read.
So our new place still had fleas left over from the previous tenants. :( We got it sprayed and then we had to stay out of it for 4 hours, so we went to Fred Meyer...
...Costco...
...and then the library where we ran into our good friends. Audrey and I were chatting with our babies and the boys were around the other side of the book cases. I heard a noise and we went to investigate. Naughty boys!
The whole mess. The librarian came around the corner and was shocked. She said she's been working in the library for a long time, and this was the worst book mess she's seen. Oops! We felt terrible (and couldn't stop laughing). The boys were very good about helping clean up.
We got home and ate a picnic lunch outside while we aired out the house.
Happy guy.
When Ruby got off of the bus at 1:45 (she has short days on Wednesdays), we went for a walk around the neighborhood.
He's getting really good at grabbing stuff.
He loves to pull up a chair and help me with everything.
This is how Ruby labeled a bunch of the boxes.
Helping give Miles a bath.
He does this when he's sleepy, he just likes to feel my face. It's so sweet.
And heading down south! Randall and Sophie are way in the back there. It was a tight fit, but we had fun.
Smiling with Grandma.
Telling Grandpa all kinds of stories.
Twinsies! Ruby wanted a picture with the bride at the rehearsal dinner. She said, "Karen's really pretty."
The view of Mt. Shasta on Saturday morning from my parents' back porch. <3
Since my mom turned 65 this year, we all prepared a little something to tell her how much she means to us. And we had a nice breakfast all together.
Then we went out to the country for a nice family walk.
Lovely weather.
Grandma dispensed the water.
Jim Warner drove by in this blue Corvette, and Reid was enamored. He loved it so much.
The wedding was beautiful. Reid and a bunch of the other little kids got to go to the nursery for the ceremony, which was nice.
Ruby and Cindy's foster daughter watched the wedding and drew pictures of Karen.
Miles loved Grandpa's tie.
And really wanted to eat Grandma's dinner.
Sweet baby.
Randall and Sophie.
He was supposed to be taking a picture for us, and took a selfie instead... Oh Randall.
During the toast Reid was so cute. He kept staring at his cup while they would talk, then toast with all of us.
Ruby got her front tooth knocked pretty hard by her cousin on accident. It bled a lot and then was really loose!
Dancing with Daddy.
So wiggly.
<3 Love.
He loves the mirror.
They got to go to the singing time of Sunday School before it was time to go. When I came to get them, they came very willingly, but cried the whole way.
And then Reid crashed.
He's starting to sit up pretty well.
This kid is ridiculous.
About to fall out!
He has been taking the funniest selfies.
Game time! We often play games after Ruby gets home from school.

22 weeks: Moving! And Miles turns 5 months

Packing and moving was a little crazy with three kids... but we are SO grateful for the help we got from family and friends, and SO grateful for the larger house we get to live in now for not much more money. We're paying $1075/month for a 3br 1.5ba 1200 sq ft duplex with an attached garage. That is unheard of in our area. For example, there's a 2 br 1.5 ba unit down the street that just went up for rent for $1300/month. Wow!!!! We are so blessed. Our landlords are a really nice older Jewish couple, and our neighbors are nice too. :)
Our family is in a Little Blue Truck book! Haha... well, Miles is a little more grown up.
 Building an airplane together.
Walk time! Not much summer weather left.
Her top two teeth are getting wiggly. I wanted some cute pics of her baby teeth smile before it's gone!
Chubby baby. He's seriously a big boy, and so sweet.
 Whoa!
He's starting to like sitting up, and of course drooling all over too. Time to bust out the bibs.
Cutie pie. I love his smile.
Playing flags in our old back yard.

And one last bath in our old bath tub. I stuck Miles in there for the first time and they all had fun!
Reading my Bible. (Don't tell her, but we're getting her a real one for Christmas. She'll love it.)
 Beautiful baby smile!
Sister's at school, so now there's some peace and quiet time to look at tractors.
Reid took this picture, so cute. <3
I put Miles on the couch by Reid for a minute while he was watching a little show and they held hands. Best brothers.
Ruby's doing SO good on her bike without training wheels!
Reid's version of packing. One layer of cars and trucks. Hahaha
 He's having fun.
Grandpa's on kid duty! My parents came up for the weekend to help us move, and it was SO nice to have their help!!! We couldn't have done it without them. Friday we got everything packed up as much as possible.
Miles in his heirloom bassinet with his new blanket made by Grandma Debbie.
Sitting up! He still falls over a lot though.
We got the keys for our new house on Friday afternoon, right after the new carpet came in! So we went over and cleaned up a bit before moving started on Saturday morning.
 Friday evening with the Grandmas.
Moving Day!! The kids were helpful, or at least not too much in the way. :)
 They had fun.
And Grandma Debbie watched all three of them while I did some major unpacking in the new kitchen.
Enjoying some cookies Reid and I made for the moving crew. Then we had pizza too.
The kids love their new bedroom. It's nice to not have to do bunk beds and still have a lot of room!
Sunday morning Andy and I went back to our old house to clean, clean, clean. Samantha came to the back door one last time for some nuts. We will miss her!
And a picture in front of our old house with our little family. <3
In the midst of all of the chaos Miles turned 5 months old! He's getting so big. He has two teeth, he's over 17 pounds, and wearing 9 month clothes. He sleeps terribly, but he makes up for it with lots of smiles and laughs.
 Reading in their new room.
 Best brothers.
Miles loves Daddy! And is cute in his diaper. His umbilical hernia is way better now and barely sticks out at all.
 Sleepy guy at nap time.
He found his feet and loves to chew on them while he gets changed.
