For the week of 7/9-7/15
I'm behind on my blog again! Somehow I can't get into routines, since I had Miles really. Some day I'll get back there I hope.
We had a fun week at swimming lessons. Miles got a random fever on Sunday afternoon but he was just fine on Monday morning. Then this past Monday he threw up 6 times, then was fine by the next morning. So weird! He's doing good now, so hopefully that's it.
The big kids loved swimming lessons and did really well. I let them each pick out a swimming lesson prize and Ruby picked a romper, and Reid picked a Lego set.
He likes to wear everyone else's clothes. Haha!
Reid and his teacher Samantha. He really doesn't like getting his eyes wet, so we're working on that.
Ruby and her teacher David. She learned so much and was doing the crawl stroke by the end!
We dressed like cows and got some free Chick-fil-A.
Those ears! And he had a crown on too. :)
Then we got ice cream at Handels since dinner was free.
Miles got his own tiny cone and loved it.
I got some dirt and cleaned out the space by the house for a flower bed. The boys were big helpers!
Meanwhile, Ruby went in and made us lunch! It was so cute. Bread with butter and jam, string cheese, pickles, dried apricots, and chips with salsa/sour cream.
Several times this week we went to a school or park after swimming lessons and played, then got the free lunch they have for kids. They love it!
Braving Safeway with all three of them... Ruby barely fits in the car cart anymore! She has really grown, like almost 2 inches in the past few months.
Miles said, "I'm hiding Mommy!" Haha
My three explorers heading for Alaska.
Whee! Reid needed help jumping in.
We met all of the MOPs people at a park, which was so fun.
Reading on the back porch. That's what summer is all about.
And reading on the couch with the boys. We do a lot of reading around here.
We rented the Lego Movie 2 for a movie night on Friday night! Miles only lasted through part of it.
He colored all over his knee. Haha. He also takes bites out of the markers and crayons most of the time still.
He has been getting the cars and tractors out to play on Reid's bed.
The kids and I did communion together at church while Andy was working in the production booth. <3 So special.
We met Becca and Frances at a park after church, but then Miles wasn't feeling well so we headed home.
So sick. :( It was very sad.
He felt a little bit better when we had blackberries for him to eat. He LOVES berries.
The big kids wanted to sleep on the floor. Reid only lasted part of the night though.
Front floats
Reid made this, it talks all about the fact that he's scared of the dark and wants Grandma and Grandpa to take care of him in the night when they're here. :(
Ruby made this to sell the balance bike. Hah!
We cut out fabric during Miles's nap to make pillows and blankets for Samantha and Hopper.
It was fun!
We had a nice walk down the street.
Ruby has been doing a lot of chores around here lately.
Snuggly baby after nap.
