Christmas and a wedding!

For the week of 12/24-12/30
Since we were all still sick, we decided to have Christmas with just us this year. It ended up being super low key and lovely, just what we needed.
 Typical boys' bath.
Baby bunny snuggles in his bunny towel.
I made this star thing for Christmas breakfast! All ready to go for tomorrow morning. I love Ruby's face. :)
Christmas Eve gifties! We didn't go to our church service because of still being sick.
We all got matching jammies. These two liked it...
Reid was not a fan. He refused to wear them. Poor guy, oh well.
 Me and my girl.
Ruby made this for Andy. <3
Christmas morning reading the story of Jesus' birth.
 Time for gifts!
 :)
We always have each kid go to the Dollar Tree and get gifts for everyone else. It is such a fun tradition, they love it! Ruby got this for Andy. Haha!
New pens for Ru! We went very light on gifts this year, since Disneyland was their big gift. They didn't mind at all!
The star bread all ready to eat! It was good, it definitely needed more salt though. Next time.
Our pastor/friend Jon gave us this old Lego pirate ship! So cool!!
Painting time!
All ready for a tea party.
For Christmas dinner we ate chicken tortellini soup. Haha!

But we had this delicious apple galette for dessert.
 Mmmmm
The kids all agreed, it was so good!
Even Samantha liked it.
Now we have all of the Disney characters. :)
Early the next morning we got in the car to head down to my parents' house. We were all feeling a lot better. Miles napped on the way.
These guys really do well in the car. Our tape deck and lots of story tapes help a lot.
 We made it!! Pure joy.
They all love playing Grandma's piano.
Reid goes straight to the Lego tub.
 Grandpa snuggles.
 Bed time stories with Grandma.
Ruby drew the nativity, so cute!
We all love Harley the horse.
He's definitely too big for the pack n play. I guess this was our last time using it. So weird to be out of that phase!
Cindy, Miles, and I headed down to Mt. Shasta to help set up for the wedding. He found this huge tractor, of course.
 Helping set out candles.
 And smelling the roses.
Then we went to Aunt Mary's house to do last minute things like polishing these silver cups, sewing arm holes and hemming, ironing, etc. I'm glad we were able to help out!
The girls have so much fun together. They have a club that meets in Grandma and Grandpa's closet.
 Evening story time.
After the little ones went to bed, we had a puzzle contest. I won!
Saturday morning we did "Christmas morning" like we always do. There were a ton of stockings!
 Present time!
 Dominos! Yay!
Ruby loves her new dress from Grandma.
Then Saturday afternoon we headed down to the wedding! Reid was really curious about Ellie, the bride.
 Our little family. <3
The girls.
Ruby and Alera really wanted a picture with Chris and Ellie.
After a delicious dinner, we had dancing! The kids all three had so much fun and stayed up way past their bed time. It's so fun that they're all finally old enough to start doing that!
Go Reid and Andy!
 Twirling and twirling.
Even Grandma and Grandpa got in on it! It was so fun.
The next morning we all were about to head over to Uncle Paul's retirement party at the Grenada Fire  House when we had an incident. Hot syrup got accidentally spilled all over dad, Cindy, and Miles, and a little bit on me. Thankfully Miles's was only on his foot, and he was ok. Dad and Cindy are fine now, but they both had some pretty bad 2nd degree burns. We are all so thankful it wasn't worse. The pancake breakfast was good though!
We left from there and headed home. Miles fell asleep almost immediately, and we had snow on the pass.
Lunch at In n Out, of course.
 Sticker puzzle!
Here's Miles's burn. It really wasn't too bad, just a small blister. Although it was painful for a few days.
