Quarantine week 14: Strawberries

It was a hot week last week. We got out a lot and played, which was so fun. And on Friday we got tons of strawberries!

Reid has been asking the most interesting, thoughtful questions lately. Things like why babies come out where they do, how things work, why people don't treat other people nicely, etc. It is so great to have those conversations with him, I absolutely love it.

Miles has this funny habit of nodding with his eyebrows if we ask him a question. It's hilarious.
Miles sat on this rug thing playing in the mud making Olaf.
Hahaha
The kids made a bunch of mud, then covered the stump and let it dry. It's still on there nice and thick!
Ruby wanted to put a little bunny in a balloon, fill it with water, freeze it, then break it out.
I took the kids on a walk around the lake. It was lovely!
We found this really cool tree that we could go inside, like a fort.
Ruby made a treasure map.
Here's Olaf that Miles made out of mud. I'm pretty sure Ruby helped.
The neighbors were gone for a few days, so we got to jump on the trampoline!!
Our home community girls and guys got together on separate nights, which was really great.
On Friday we got strawberries! We had to wear masks, and it got really hot.
We bought a whole flat, but the berries were so tiny it took forever to fill it. The kids got so bored.
And hot/tired. Andy took them off to play while I picked as fast as possible.
Then on Saturday I made some strawberry pie!
Father's Day!
We got Andy a weed wacker. We really appreciate him so much. <3
Ruby in front of our sweet peas.
Early in the morning Miles got up and ate some butter. Doh!
We love Richard Scarry!
The kids got inspired to dig a huge hole. They wanted to dig a big room underground and made all kinds of plans.
This guy couldn't get enough strawberries. His pee was pink he ate so many! It freaked me out a little. Haha
Story time with Dad.
