I'm slowly catching up on my posts! This is for the week of 12/25-12/31.
Currently though, we finally transitioned Miles to one nap. I have to try to keep him awake until 12:45 or 1, and he does really well. He's started sleeping for 2+ hours which is fantastic! It's toughest on the mornings when he wakes up before 5:30, but we make it work. Hopefully he'll start sleeping in a little in the mornings too. He and the other kids were all sick after Christmas, so he started waking up in the night a bunch again. We've got to work on that because I'm going to start weaning him soon too.
Here are the photos from Christmas!
We had a lovely Christmas! The morning was spent with my parents and Randall & Sophie, then Cindy's family came before lunch. Grandma had fun reading to her Grand babies.
He was fascinated by the tree.
Christmas morning walk. He loved going outside, and he especially loved seeing Grandpa's tractor.
They all loved getting rides!
Reid did this to the ribbons on the presents. Haha!
Ruby and Andy made a scavenger hunt for the cousins for when they got there!
It was pretty fun. It led to the Christmas tree.
We had a ton of stockings this year! Ours are huge in comparison to everyone else's. Haha. I'm going to knit us new ones this year, hopefully they'll be a more practical size.
Reid told us all the story of baby Jesus.
Opening gifts! Ruby got Heihei... he screams. Hahaha
Ruby got this cross stitch from Grandma!
Miles found out that he LOVES oranges!
The day after Christmas some of us tried to go to the Yreka museum, but of course it was closed. We took a walk along Yreka Creek instead.
King of the rock!
It was SOOOOO cold! Poor Miles was freezing.
We had a big Sprunger family dinner at the church in Grenada. The kids had fun with their second cousins!
Ruby and Mary Anne matched!
The big table all set up for dinner.
Miles and Marcus are the same age, and they're so cute.
Then Thursday morning we met the Clarks for breakfast. It was fun to see them.
Grandpa gave lots of hay rides to the kids, they all loved it so much! Miles was in the nursery and kept climbing up on the slide so he could see Grandpa's tractor out the window. Haha
We headed back home after breakfast, and of course stopped at In-N-Out for lunch.
I love it when they're sweet to each other.
Trying to read to all three kids...
Block tower time!
He is just so funny.
On Saturday I took Ruby out for her first pedicure!
We had tons of fun.
She got these cute little flowers on her big toes. I just love her so much.
Then I trimmed her very long, beautiful hair.
Andy and the kids got a Magic kit from the library, so they decided to put on a magic show for my parents. They practiced and practiced.
And then we had a family dance party.
We all got on our pretty dresses. I'll spare you the picture of Andy...(he made me promise!) Hahaha!
We've been building all kinds of fun train tracks!
Grandma and Grandpa came through on their way home from dropping Randall and Sophie off in Seattle. The kids covered Grandpa up for his nap. :)
Time for the magic show!
They were SO cute.
And did a great job!
Bowing at the end.
Miles found Grandma's coffee cup. :)
