For the week of 12/11-12/17
Since we were traveling down to Grenada for Christmas, we decided to open our family gifts on the 15th. It was so fun! We also did the Zoo lights with the Sprungers, and it wasn't raining or freezing cold... only super crowded. Haha It was a great week.
Miles likes to stack things.
And he LOVES baths. The other two kids hate them for some reason.
Reid has been wanting this PJ Masks set from the Dollar Tree for a while, so we went and bought it with his money. He colored them all, which was so cute.
We went over to McMenamins to get dessert and see the Dickens Carolers, our favorite holiday tradition.
The chairs were super low. Haha!
Ruby got to play the bells when they sang Jingle Bells, and Reid requested "Christmas is Coming, the Goose is Getting Fat" (which we request every year).
Then he licked his plate clean. Mmmmm
I decorated my classroom for Christmas.
Miles loves to help!
Ruby got a bedroom all set up for Samantha and was putting her to bed. <3
The neighbors were dog sitting this little dog and it came to our door to say hi early one morning. The kids just about freaked out! They love dogs.
I took the boys to Two's Together at the library. Miles just loved it! He was trying to do everything the teacher was doing.
Then he just laid down. Haha!
Reid had fun too, making this long train.
Afternoon rest time. <3
Thursday evening we went to Reid's Christmas program! It was so cute.
Singing "Go Tell it on the Mountain."
Time to clean!
The night before our pretend Christmas the kids got to open up some jammies.
Ruby had matching ones with Samantha!
New jammies!
And then we got it all ready to open gifts the next morning.
Stocking time!
Excitement!
Hahaha...
Ruby was excited to give Andy some Nerds.
Ruby got a Spirograph!
Reid got some Ninja swords!
And Miles got this marble run thing that they all three love.
Andy got our new TV (a few weeks ago) and I got a Sous Vide and a new waffle iron. I love it!
Trying out the new train bridges.
Trying out her Spirograph.
Reid also got this cool remote control car.
Then we bundled up for the Zoo lights! We took the Max in because parking is impossible on a Saturday night right before Christmas. We've learned that the hard way...
Miles just wanted to get out and walk.
Going through the light tunnel.
It was easy to spot Joel there, the super tall guy in the rabbit fur hat. :) We had lots of fun and brought a sack dinner and had hot chocolate. It's so great to have family close by!
On Sunday Ruby and I helped in Miles's nursery class. Miles and Nash had lots of fun together.
Hahaha!
On Saturday, Andy took Reid to his friend Ellie's birthday party from preschool. He had fun!
King Reid.
So glad you are making your own Christmas traditions! The kids should be set for jammies for awhile! Love you!!
