For the week of 3/3-3/9
We had a fun first week of March. We got out a lot and went swimming, and we're so glad we did. It turned out to be our last fun family outing before the COVID quarantine started.
First off, let's start with a selection of photos of Miles doing all of his silly/naughty/2-year-old things...
Oh little boy. You really give me a run for my money.
They all like to read the cereal boxes on Cereal Sunday. Hah!
His naps are so spotty lately, and then he falls asleep in the car. Ugh
He comes into our bed almost every morning at about 4am and goes back to sleep. It's so sweet.
Miles and I went on a walk and found some people trimming a tree!
Playing at the park.
Jumping off the slide.
He had these tiny little wine glasses from Ruby's play bunny set and was pouring us some wine. Hah!
He was pounding nails in with his hammer.
Reid made Andy this sign while he was at work.
Helping Mama grate parmesan.
Reid and his reading buddy at school.
Miles likes to line up all of his cars.
Ruby got invited to a birthday party on Friday night for a neighbor down the street. She had fun!
The girl's little brother invited Reid over to play during the party.
Andy was gone at a church men's thing, so I just stayed with Miles there too. He had fun pinning the horn on the unicorn!
Doing his "work." He was super focused.
We finally turned Miles to front facing in his car seat! He was pretty excited about it. And Reid is in a booster now too. Big changes! It's fun for them to all be facing the same way now. Ruby likes to read to Miles.
We went swimming for the morning at Conestoga! I didn't get a lot of pics because we were all busy getting wet and having fun. Reid had to warm up to the idea, but he finally went down the waterslide and loved it!
And of course, we couldn't have kept Ruby off of it if we had tried. Hah! Miles had fun going down it too.
Post swimming, post shower, happy kids.
Some nights Ruby reads to the boys. It's so sweet.
Domino day!
I took all three kids in for dental appointments. They did great, although Miles was a lot more scared this time, probably since they dropped a drill bit down his throat last November. Poor guy. They finally just brushed with a regular brush. :( No cavities for anyone though!
