Andy's work trip... for a week

For the week of 9/17-9/23/19

Andy had to go to South Carolina for a training for work for a whole week!! But before he left...
Miles helped me zest lemons. He loves to sit on the counter and help.
We met Andy for lunch at Five Guys and I drew Miles a robot while we waited.
He set up all of these houses. Hah!
Rub your tummy and pat your head...
 Game night! I won. :)
All ready to go out shopping with his purse.
 Dance party time!
Shortly after that I started making dinner. I had set out an almost brand new bag of whole wheat flour on the counter, turned around to chop something, and turned back around to this!!!!! Oops. I had to stop and snap a picture before cleaning it up.
The boys sure love each other.
 Telling secrets. <3
Help! I smashed my fingers in a car door!
Cutie pie, she made this out of bobby pins.
Trying to help clean something up... I think I roll the paper towels back in at least once a day.
Ruby was setting up a preschool classroom to teach Miles.
We all made secret notes for Andy to find in his bag on his trip. Reid's became quite elaborate.
Sometimes he sleeps like this. <3
 He loves train tracks.
 Pizza and a movie night!
 Early morning Duplo building time.
Reid has been making lots of fun machines lately.
It was cold and lovely out, so we all bundled up in our pajamas and went out for a walk on Saturday morning right after breakfast. Very early the next morning Andy left. :(
They make beds in the weirdest places sometimes.
Reid loves to draw our family at Sunday School.
I got the kids to church by myself, then of course we ran to Costco. Hah! And I got them all back to church in the afternoon for our Rooted class.
 Fun!
They needed to get some energy out so we made a jumping pile.
Video chatting. We sure missed him!
Reading a story to Baby Pluto.
And a walk with my Sweet Pea.
 Post nap snuggle time.
I had two lovely new friends from MOPs bring us dinner two of the nights while Andy was gone, which was so nice! My friend Bre brought us a huge plate of cookies with it, so as soon as the kids got home from the bus, Ruby asked to share with the neighbors. They had a cute picnic in the front yard. <3
Then they invited us over to watch their circus!
Little cutie.

Andy's birthday!

For the week of 9/10-9/16

Andy turned 35!! We had a fun day baking and cooking all of his favorite treats. :)
We started off the day with some cinnamon rolls... mmmmmm
And cards and gifts. The kids sure made some cute cards.
He loves his Bunny and Bear.
Ruby put on a fashion show. She's so cute!
 Miles jumped in there too.
Wearing my scarf as a dress. Hah!
We had Carbonara for dinner, and of course, Grilled Peach Melba for dessert.
The boys all three licked their plates clean. It was definitely a big hit.
Then we had family game night with some Blind Man's Bluff.
Our three kids have such different hair colors!
On Wednesday Miles and I started swimming lessons together!
 It was so fun.
Getting his tractors all lined up.
Hanging out at Les Schwab. It took forever to get our tires rotated for some reason.

I went to Curriculum Night at school while Andy put the kids to bed. Ruby had a "Me Museum" all set up on her desk with things she likes.
And her art on the wall of her under water.
Reid had a self portrait on the wall in his room.
 Chillaxing.
Miles refused to take a nap, so we went for a little drive, and of course, he fell right to sleep in the car. I brought him in and laid him on the couch and he just kept sleeping. So cute.
Enjoying some sand with the neighbors.
We grew all of these beets!
Ruby's pretty mud and flower thing.
 Haha!
Ruby set up a book store and made us all buy books.
And she made this book for herself. Haha!
 Where is Miles???
 She loves fishtail braids.
We went to our friend Evan's birthday party and they had a zip line!
 The kids all loved it.
 Ruby and Miles with Nora.
 Even Miles got a try.
Old friends from Lake Bible Church over a decade ago.
Putting his Bunny and Bear and a spoon to bed.
The kids all love the play structure at church.
I took the kids to the Sprungers' boys' birthday party on Sunday afternoon while Miles and Andy stayed home and napped.
We had to leave early though, because we started a 10 week class at church called Rooted. Of course, they wanted a cupcake to go.
Ruby went to an Audiology appointment. They wanted her to come back every year to make sure her ears weren't getting worse, she had a weird reading on one of the tests. It has stayed about the same, so they said to come back in 3-5 years this time. :) Her hearing is perfect, so they're not really worried.
He made a mess, thankfully he likes to clean up too.
 King of the stump!
He loves playing in the back yard.
 And picking me flowers. <3
We saw a gorgeous rainbow on our way home the other night! The kids loved it. When we got home they ran into the back yard to look for the pot of gold. Hah!
So then Andy made a pot of gold for them and hid it around the house. :)
