35 Weeks

Ruby turned 8 months old yesterday. She started army crawling this week, said "Dada," and reached out for Mommy. She's been getting over her cold slowly, and the last few nights of sleep have been better. This week Andy has vacation, so we're doing a little staycation (lack of funds to go somewhere). Except on Monday we got to take a little beach trip overnight to check out a camp for Awake (with a free place to stay). It was lots of fun, and the weather was pretty nice. Yesterday we cleaned out the garage, and today we're going to hike at Silver Falls.

 She started pulling herself up a little when she's in the laundry basket.

 She has turned into a drooly mouth breather with this cold.

 At the coast she played her first racing game. She did pretty good, and got 28th place (out of 28).

34 Weeks

 I took some photos of Andy and Ruby this week. They turned out so sweet. They sure love each other a lot. Ruby caught a cold and the last two nights have been horrible for sleep. But she's still pretty happy during the day. She started scooting forward a little bit yesterday, so I'm sure crawling, or at least army crawling, is right around the corner. 

 She mostly sleeps on her side/tummy now.

33 Weeks

Ruby's really starting to talk a lot. She said "Dada" on Monday, which was Andy's birthday. She didn't know what she was saying, but she still said it. He was excited. She's just tons of fun. She loves to sing and squeal.

32 Weeks

Ruby has really been on the move this week! She has been rolling all over the floor. Yesterday she was in the living room and rolled all the way to the kitchen. It's adorable. She has also started babbling a lot, and I constantly hear "babawawya"...so cute. She is getting up on her hands and knees and rocking too, so crawling probably isn't that far off. Ruby tried applesauce that I made last year and mangoes this week, and loved them both. She hasn't been liking the less sweet things like green beans, avocados, and carrots. Hopefully she'll start liking those again soon.

 This is the solution when you have to make 3 pies and have a rolling baby.
