Miles is starting to walk!

Our baby is almost a toddler! Miles is really starting to try to walk around a lot more and is doing quite well. He has been sleeping really well too and slept through the night 4 nights in a row! He does get up at 5:30 or 5:45am though, but we make it work. I think I might adjust his whole schedule back half an hour or so.

All three kids have had a cold, Reid's has been the worst. He had croup in the night when he first got it, which was scary. I couldn't get him to calm down and I was alternating from the bathroom with steam to the freezer to have him breathe in the cold air. He actually thought I was going to put him in the shower and the freezer so then he totally freaked out. I finally got him to calm down and it got better. Poor guy! Ruby had a bad earache the next night and I was up with her for an hour and a half in the night... so rough week! Miles has just had a slight cough, thankfully that's it.
Reid got his thumb stuck in his Hot Wheels track. I had to gently pull it out. Hah!
Ruby was cold at breakfast so she got her coat on.
Miles is getting a little mullet.
And he loves to lounge. (Remind you of anyone, Mom?)
Reid has been "entertaining the baby" by Miles holding on to his tractor while he rides around the house. Haha!
Sweet moment. They really love each other a lot.
We met some friends from Stayton at the zoo on Wednesday. It was cold, but really fun!
Reid loved watching for the train.
 Riding on a goat
In the afternoon we headed out on a walk to the park. They all love to swing.
She wanted to try the baby swing. Haha! And she gets holes in her legging knees almost immediately.
On the way home we saw a tiny green caterpillar/worm thing hanging from a thread. The kids had fun trying to touch it.
Reid asked Andy to read "Darth Vader Has a Baby" and gave him the Berenstain Bears book. So andy read it as if it was Star Wars... it was pretty much hilarious. Then Reid was really upset that he wasn't reading the actual story. Silly Reid!
My mini shopper at Safeway. He did really good.
And then he "drove" us down to Greenhorn Park.
She loves getting dressed up in her fancy clothes.
The kids woke up SUPER early on Friday morning so we made popovers for breakfast.
 They were "Yu-u-mmy!"
Playing doctor. "You have a little bit of blood coming out of your ear."
 Ready for a bike ride!
Helping Daddy fix the slow draining sink.
 I love his happy face!
This is how we watched the Royal Wedding on Saturday morning.
Here is a video of the most steps Miles has taken so far. It is SO cute to see him toddling around. :) Today he walked from the couch to the chair in the living room too. <3
 What??
They fell asleep in Reid's bed together. <3
Silly Reid got stuck in a box.
Family foos ball game at Sunday School!
This boy loves to eat. He just shovels it in and I can barely keep up with cutting his food up into little pieces. But then I scoop a bunch back out of his bib and he eats that too. Hahaha
They put on a puppet show about birds building a nest and then flying south for the winter.
Going crazy throwing paper airplanes around the bathroom! It got a little loud.

Reid turns 4!!! And Mother's Day

We had a busy/fun week! Reid turned 4, he's such a big boy. He keeps saying, "Am I a tough kid?" And he's been trying to show how strong he is by lifting heavier things. It's cute. He weighs almost 40 pounds now and is 40.5 inches tall. He's such a sweet boy and keeps us laughing pretty much all the time. He had a fun birthday.
Birthday boy! He wanted oatmeal with blueberries for breakfast.
 Opening his new train engine...
...and driving it all around his track. We have to do it up on the table so it doesn't get destroyed by our busy, busy baby.
Grandma is so fun to have around. She spent the day with the boys while Andy and I cleaned and organized the garage. It was a huge job, but feels so good to have it done! We pulled a lot of stuff out for a garage sale we'll have next month.
Grandma took the boys to the park.
Miles loves the steering wheel.
I found our beard beanies! Miles wasn't a huge fan.
I also found this paint with water thing and both big kids have been loving it.
Meeting Ruby when she gets off the bus.
We gave Miles some whole milk and he likes it okay. I think it's too cold straight out of the refrigerator.
My mom and Reid made Blueberry Buckle for his birthday dessert.

He took a few tries blowing out the candles.
 More gifts!
He loves his new light saber.
Our doctor is super nice. This is at his annual appointment the next day.
 Reading with a friend.
Ruby got to bike to school on Wednesday with Grandma.
My mom took this cute picture of our family. <3
And we got Miles a new high chair. He would rock his old one and we were all afraid he would knock it over and get hurt. This one attaches to the table and is great!
We found this kid broom in the garage too.
He loves his pop up tent and set it all up with his sleeping bag, pillow and stuffed animals.
They love to climb in this little dead bush thing.
They made a maze for Miles. He just kept wanting to stand up and push the chairs though. Haha
 Learning to tie her shoes!
The boys and I had fun at the library.
 Pushing the books around.
 After school ice cream picnic!
Ruby wanted some makeup on. :)
She made me these Mother's Day coupons. She kept drawing me pictures and giving me flowers and things all week for Mother's Day. She's so precious.
She made me this snack plate.
We enjoyed a picnic lunch outside on Saturday. Our neighbor Aylah sat with us too.
Then we went to a fun park!
It was super hot that day.
 First time on the slide!
Reid was playing that the walker was some kind of tractor (upside down) and Miles kept hitting him with the broom. Brothers...
So sweet. Both big kids really love Miles so much.
Miles was pretty snotty on Mother's Day so we didn't go to church. But we did go to Elk Rock garden for a little walk and it was gorgeous. I love this picture.
 And this one!!
Overlooking the Willamette River. I was a little afraid that the kids would fall down the cliff.
 Me and my littlest.
 Smelling the flowers.
 Reid's smile lately! Hahahaha
 <3
We had several attempts at a mom and kid photo and we got some good ones.
Miles loves crawling up on the trampoline lately.
We stopped in at Old Navy to return something, and of course Ruby wanted to try on some clothes.
She drew this picture of me at school along with writing about three pages of things she likes about me. I love it so much!
 Stratego!
He gets up and tries to jump, it's so cute.
On Monday the boys and I went over to the park. Reid did really good on his bike.
 Happy baby!
 Swing time.
 :) He loves it.
And he loved sitting on the tractor. Reid has been driving around with Miles walking holding onto the back of it. Reid says he's "entertaining the baby."
He got this fun trash truck from the Hall family.
And then spent at least an hour and a half playing with it non-stop after lunch.
Carting it around in his trailer. Hahaha!
This is part of what Ruby wrote me for Mother's Day. I think she was attempting to do the whole alphabet but only got to B.
"Happy Mother's Day Momy!
I need to tell you something
A. After you nurse the baby we can snuggle with you.
B. Baby is very hungry sometimes. At dinner time. So you have to feed him you're food.
C.
Ruby"
He loves tickles!
