31 Weeks

Ruby turned 7 months old this week. She's starting to try to go from sitting to her hands and knees. It's only a matter of time until she's crawling away... but probably not for a while still. We'll see. :) This weekend was our friends Aaron and Erin's wedding. It was lovely, and we got some nice family pictures taken. Ruby did really well with all of the late nights, even though she was still sick. I thought she might have an ear infection, so we went to see Dr. Guesly on Tuesday. Thankfully she's fine, and maybe it's just teething (that means molars! Yikes!). She does have a bad diaper rash that will not go away, so we got a prescription for that, and hopefully it will help. we went blackberry picking with our friend Janna yesterday at her mom's farm, and Ruby had lots of fun. She loves the farm!
 Playing.
Her white and pink tennis shoes. She kept kicking.
 I'm done with my nap!
Yummy spatula. She'll be helping me cook before long.
Swinging with Daddy at the wedding rehearsal.

Her 7 month photo. I forgot to take it all day until she was ready for bed and asleep.

30 Weeks

What a crazy week we have had! And it's not over yet. We started out Friday by going out to breakfast. Ruby was super cuddly. Then Saturday we went to our friends' house in Beaverton for the day. Sunday afternoon we had lunch at someone's house then up to the Pullen's house for a wedding party for Aaron Walker. On Monday Andy spent time with Ruby and sent me off to get a pedicure (which was fantastic :), and the evening was spent driving up to Aunt Paula and Uncle Paul's house to hang out with them, Heidi, Maddie and Jack. Tuesday evening we had a potluck picnic in the park and dessert with the Hodgson's to meet their nephews. Yesterday Patty came down and we had lunch and went peach picking. Like I said, crazy. Ruby started getting a cold on Friday on top of it all. So she's been stuffy and has had some late nights. She's still happy most of the time though. We are spoiled with such a sweet baby.
Playing with her horse from Aunt Cindy.
On Monday I came home to this.
 Sitting in a big chair.
Playing with her second cousin Jack.
On a walk with the cousins.
The three chubby babies. These twin boys are just a few weeks younger than Ruby.
And she's fighting off the boys already. :)

 Sweet girl.
Sucking her thumb... I wonder if it will become a habit.
 Reading Mommy's Bon Appetit magazine.
I'm not sure if she's yawning or singing.
This morning in her cute jammies.
This is how she sleeps most of the time.

29 Weeks

It's been really hot this week. We're just trying to stay cool. We went swimming in the river and Ruby has had lots of baths. Our poor baby is kind of miserable. She has really been rolling over a lot though. She can get around pretty well. She's loving her solid foods too. So far she has had avocados, sweet potatoes, rice cereal, pears and peaches. I think sweet potatoes and pears are her favorites. I think I forgot to mention in my last post that Ruby had her 8th tooth come through. Hopefully we'll have a break from teething for a while, although she does really well with it. She's really good at sitting up now and barely falls over if it's not on purpose.
Cutie pie. I like to keep a pillow or two behind her when she sits so she doesn't hit her head in case she falls over.
 Cold water!
Her first swing ride at the park.
Sitting pretty.
Cute crooked smile. Her floor quilt is under the fan to try to keep her cool.
She had fun playing the drum with Daddy.
Talk about flexibility!
 Her cute little teeth.
 Naked time!
Bath time! She loves to splash and play with bath toys.

28 Weeks

We had lots of fun this week! On Friday Ruby and I drove to Medford for my cousin Jordan's wedding. We stayed with Aunt Cindy and Uncle Dan, and Grandma and Grandpa an Uncle Randy were all there as well. Ruby had lots of fun with her cousins and second cousins. The wedding was Saturday evening, and it was HOT (106!). We survived though and went to my parents' house on Sunday through Tuesday. Then home and an adventure in Portland yesterday with Daddy.
All dressed up for the wedding.
Grandma and Grandpa with their grand daughters.
