Miles turns 17 months, and we're off to the Air Show.

For the week of 9/25-10/1
I got mostly pictures of Miles this week. The other two were busy at school! I sure miss them when they're gone. My little alone time with Miles is so special though. He started waking up at night again since he was sick with Herpangina, so we're trying to work on that. It's hard to get up and teach super early when I miss sleep.
The big kids are doing very well in school. Ruby had her parent/teacher conference on the 17th and Mrs. Marlia said she is doing great and is a very sweet, helpful student. The only thing she needs to work on is that she's a little bit of a perfectionist and takes too long doing things, then doesn't move on to the next thing very quickly with the class. Definitely something we can work on.
Reid is loving Preschool. His teachers love him too! He always tells us of all the fun things he gets to do, and he randomly sings new songs he learns. His conference is coming up next month.
The boys made this fun little train and Miles kept crawling down it.
I love when babies squat, it's the cutest thing.
Checking out the bunny house Reid built. (Ignore the food crumbs, we need a dog.)
I took Miles to the toy store because we had a coupon, and he loved this very soft stuffed avocado. Haha!
Chili face! This boy loves everything and anything with tomatoes.
He brought Andy this book upside down. Haha!
 Brother cuddle time.
He picked me a flower! Reid constantly brings me flowers and now Miles started too. I love it.
The big kids built this shelter in the back yard.
Reid figured out how to get this mower to blow bubbles by pushing on it while you run with it. He's so clever.
 Having fun with filters.
 Helping Mommy clean!
Cutie pie. He's been taking this chair all around the house to sit on it or stand on it to reach things.
Ruby helped Andy clean the car windows. Haha!
On Saturday we drove over to watch the air show! It was pretty cool.
 The kids all loved it.
These 9 planes flew all over in formations, it was crazy how close they were to each other. Then we got some dinner and Del and Patty put our kids to bed while we went on a little dessert date. We had so much fun I didn't even get a picture. <3
Ruby loves walking across this at church. I love her little booties.
 Reid likes to try too!
This pic of Reid is up at church. I love his goofy smile like that.
They were way short on volunteers in Miles's class so Andy and I both stayed in there during the service. This table with the built in seats is hilarious.
Playing in the nursery is soooooo tiring.
I love doing fun braids and things in Ruby's hair.
Frances came over to play for a little while. She and Miles get along so well! It's the cutest.
And Miles turned 17 months old! He's getting so tall.

A typical week

For the week of 9/18-9/24
We had a regular week around here, nothing too out of the ordinary. Ruby keeps bringing mild colds home from school and Miles gets them too. We've been keeping him out of the nursery because we don't want to spread it at church, but we've missed several weeks now. Gah!
Reid saw the Cheerios on the box with strawberries in them and wanted some too. I couldn't resist. :)
Miles likes to watch Ruby go to the bus, blows her kisses, and says, "Bye Sissy!"
 Brother cuddles on the couch.
Sometimes the only way to get Reid out the door for errands is to promise something fun that will interest him... so for our trip to Costco we brought some cans to recycle. He was fascinated.
 Trying to package himself up!
The big kids have been great at helping with chores lately. We made a chore chart and they set up/clean up the table and do vacuuming or clean the windows and mirrors. Then they get $1 at the end of the week if they were good helpers.
Coloring time! We love finding free coloring pages online.
5 people come with so much laundry.
He likes to back up to things and sit on them. Haha!
I took the boys to play at the mall, they had so much fun!
Reid got a freebie ride in this blue car (the maintenance guy left it running!), and then one in the space ship.
This boy... he climbs on everything and is busy, busy, busy. It is so hard to get things done!
Ruby took a trial Chinese class on the computer with the sister company to VIPKID. It was so fun!
We watched one of the last Giants games of the year with a picnic dinner in the living room.
Reid got this special award at Preschool! He's doing so good.
He loves connecting clips of things.
Miles and I went to the library while the big kids were at school. He loves to run around in there.
We got lots and lots of books!
Afternoon family trip to the school park. Ruby's very good at swinging, we swung (swang? swinged?) together for a long time in sync. It was so fun!
Reid likes to twist the swing.
 Saturday morning breakfast... so good!!!
Afternoon family ice cream date! We had several free ice cream coupons to this cute little shop down the road.
The wind kept blowing the leaves in a little whirlwind and the kids had fun chasing them around.
Ruby wrote this little poem from school. <3
The kids put Ruby's dress on Miles. Haha!
He falls asleep in the car after church usually because he skips his morning nap. Then he's all sleepy and snuggly when we get home. Thankfully he wakes up and eats lunch well, then goes back down for a real nap in the afternoon.
He has been waking up in the night almost every night since getting Herpangina and several colds. Mama is zzzzzzzzzzz.
Music time! He's pretty good at strumming.
 Wrestle time!
 Waking up Sissy.
 Hahaha!
 "Hewo?"
This is how Reid was writing his name at Preschool for a while. Haha!
