Thanksgiving and sick boys

For the week of 11/20-11/26
The boys both got sick the week of Thanksgiving. :( Thankfully it was just a fever for a day or two and a cold. We had a good week otherwise and mostly just stayed home. Thankfully I bought all of our Thanksgiving food early!
Poor sick baby. His fever was about 101 for 24 hours.
He just had the saddest sick eyes and was really sweet. He wanted to be held a lot and thankfully nursed well. He didn't have much of an appetite otherwise.
We got a ukulele from the library which was fun. He wanted to learn some chords.
Miles is starting to feel better! And we got a huge box in the mail... so much fun.
 They made a box/pillow fort.
 Where's Ruby's body??!!
Uh-oh... Haha!
Reid started feeling sick on Thanksgiving day. :(
Grandpa and Grandma came over for Thanksgiving dinner. Thankfully we didn't have plans to go anywhere since we would have had to cancel anyway with Reid's fever.
He got so tired and slept right through dinner.
The rest of us enjoyed it though!
 :)
Ruby made place cards for everyone.
He wanted a little breakfast the next morning but still had a fever most of the day.
Ruby and Miles still having fun with the big box.
 :(
Ruby, Miles, and I went on a nice, cold, rainy walk while Andy stayed home with Reid.
 Brrr!!!
Then the box migrated to the hallway. They were playing "goblin family."
 She's so precious.
 More Goblin Family
Ruby wrote out a little verse we memorized.
We got the Christmas things out! The kids love our big pile of books. We decided not to do a tree this year since we won't even be here for that week, and Miles... He's a busy little guy.
I got our family photos printed and framed in our bedroom. We love them!!
We stopped by an open house on Sunday afternoon just for fun. It was a three story townhouse which I would never want.
 Christmas!!
I made new Christmas play dough. :)
 Ruby made "cookies."
Miles just loves this chair so much. He was trying to read a cookbook.
Andy dragged them all around the house in Reid's brown blanket for a long time. They loved it!
So glad he's on the mend! He had fun with our bathroom mirrors.

Thanksgiving prep and all the dead fish

For the week of 11/13-11/19
We're getting all geared up for Thanksgiving!
Here's Ruby getting ready for school. She usually reads or watches a Mickey Mouse while I do her hair.
Playing Out Foxed while Miles naps.
Reid strapped Miles in to this booster seat. Haha!
Oh Miles... I'm pretty sure he was closing his eyes.
 Tower time!
We got Reid's school picture back, so cute.
I remember doing this as a kid listening to the radio. Our kids are listening to Alexa tell a story. Hah!
Miles carries this chair all around the house to climb up to things.
I took the boys to a park I heard was really good for toddlers down in Lake Oswego... it wasn't. Haha. But we had fun anyway.
We played line tag for a long time.
Reid drew a picture of me.
Ruby's been loving building these cushion forts.
Face Time with Grandpa! Miles always asks to talk to him.
Reid played with the bunny family while Miles napped one day.
He even set up their table with a drink. Hah!
Ruby has been into designing her own American Girl doll. Just for fun though, they cost like $200! And she loves Samantha.
 The tallest Lego tower.
They all got out their dresses for DANCE PARTY TIME!
Mom took this picture of Miles and I at church. :)
Miles doesn't get his morning nap on Sundays, so he usually falls asleep in the car on the way home. It's so cute. Thankfully he still usually goes down for his afternoon nap.
Sadly our fish Cobra died. :( He was almost a year old and we really liked him a lot.
Vacuum time! Miles loves to copy people.
They had fun with this cardboard.
The big kids were having a bath and Miles wanted one too, so I gave him a sink bath. He loved turning on the water so I had to keep draining it. Hah!
And also sadly, our other two guppies died too (Caleb and Cleaner Fish). :( I think that first one might have brought some kind of disease that killed them all. So we will be fishless until after our trip at Christmas.
On Monday Reid had a Thanksgiving program and feast!
 He was pretty cute.
Miles and I got to go watch.
Reid even got to hold the flag!
 :)
We had fun at the feast together. I brought the high chair for Miles so he wouldn't run around. Haha
Under Table fort time. They're so fun.
