We have the sickness.

The kids and I have been sick all week. :( Ruby had to miss preschool on Friday, but we sent her back on Monday. She was still snotty, but since colds last at least a week or two, we didn't want to keep her home that whole time when she was feeling okay. I kind of feel bad for maybe spreading it around, but I'm sure other families do it too.
We had a game/movie day on Friday when Ruby was home. I really didn't feel good all day, so we laid low.
 Snuggles on the couch.
Reid didn't feel good either. :(
Snapchat fun! Hahaha
Andy taught Ruby checkers, and she did pretty good!
I did have enough energy to make some yummy bread.
He got stuck in the stroller.
Poor sick little girl, all snuggled up with her doll, "Aunt Becca."
 Breakfast time!
On Sunday we stayed home from church, but we were all tired of being so cooped up. So we headed out to the Pittock Mansion (with the pass from the library). It has a beautiful view of Portland.
We had fun exploring the house!
Reid does pretty good in the Ergo still.
Ruby had fun looking at the map.
Then we had a picnic lunch out on the lawn. It was a gorgeous day!
The kids enjoyed the view.
Me and my love.
 He really liked this stick.
They were playing "Robin Hood and Little John."
We went down to the Pullens for dinner that night. Reid was funny eating his pizza.
Monday morning Reid did this, he turned the stroller on its side, and was playing the drums with lighters. Haha!
More Snapchat fun. She was calling this Mrs. Broccoli.
 Sibling snuggles. <3
Andy brought Clue Jr. home from the library. It has been so fun!
They do play together nicely sometimes. They were riding these around the house.
We headed to the park in the afternoon on Tuesday. We all had a lot of fun!
They love this really big slide.
Whee!!
Ruby's first real swing ride on a big swing. She loved it!
Then they played in the fountain, and Ruby got soaked.
Reid managed to avoid the water.
We headed through the car wash. The kids think it's too loud.
Ruby had to go home in her undies because her clothes were all wet. :)
Movie night! The kids had fun watching Star Wars Episode 1.
Reid loves to say hi to Bugga Boo Bunny at preschool.
We have fun when Ruby's at school. He loves to play in the back yard!
He put all of the Mr. Potato Head pieces in the trash. Ha! At least there was nothing gross in there.
We went to evening Story Time at the library on Wednesday night.
 It was fun!
And then Reid was "making muscles."
 He's such a cutie.
 More Clue Jr.!
He wanted to snuggle with my arm.
Reid had a really hard time on Wednesday after we dropped Ruby off at preschool. He was just beside himself. The only way I got him to calm down was to stand in the living room, holding him, and not swinging. Poor guy.
Before nap he wanted to try going potty!
He didn't actually go, but I'm glad he's wanting to sit.
She was on a "hike" with her walking stick and her backpack.

A visit from Grandma and Grandpa, and hair cuts!

We had a fun, busy week! Our friends came on Friday to have fun at the zoo with us, Grandma and Grandpa Wetzig were here for a few days, and we headed down to Sublimity to get our hair cut. And then we all got sick...

Ruby has been doing so good at not wetting her bed. It has been at least two weeks since she's had a night time accident. So I think she is officially fully potty trained now. Yay! Reid is not interested in the least, but I'm sure we'll get there.

Speaking of... this may be TMI, but Reid has had loose stools for a large part of his life. We think he may have some kind of food sensitivity/allergy, and we're leaning toward it being dairy. So I think that starting next week we will cut out all dairy out of his (and Andy's) diets, and see if that helps. We'll do it at least two weeks, so hopefully that will be it. If it doesn't help, we'll have to go on a full elimination diet and figure out what's causing it. Poor guy, it doesn't seem comfortable. We have fully switched to disposable diapers, because it was not fun doing cloth with his issue. :(

Reid has slept almost all the way through the night the last few nights. He woke up at 5am on Sunday, and then I got him back to sleep, and we all slept until 7! That was a miracle. I really need him to sleep through the night consistently and not wake up so early.

He has just been loving to sing lately. He makes up a ton of cute songs, and sings all of the ones he knows regularly. Ruby has just started doing this really funny hula dance all the time. She gets this cute smile on her face and dances away!
Reid and I met the Cline's at the zoo while Ruby was in preschool. We had fun! He didn't even fuss too much when I put him in the stroller a few times.
Reid, Addison and Aiden.
 Practicing jumping.
Then the Cline's left their kids at our place while they went to a wedding. They all played together pretty well. Ruby and Aiden played Star Wars for a while.
 And in the laundry hamper.
Andy was scrubbing the tub, and he put the kids to work scrubbing the bath toys!
Long, pretty hair. She got quite a bit cut off this week.
Nap time! I just love his lips.
Checking out the glasses at Costco.
Mom and Dad are here! We had fun with them.
Grandma took Ruby to preschool with me, then they took Reid to the library so I could have a little, much needed break.
And they bought the kids these fun swords at the Dollar Tree.
We dressed Ruby as a pirate to get a free dozen donuts! She had so much fun.
We all had fun watching them make the donuts.
 Yum!
Tickle time with Grandpa John!
And mom made us applesauce, which is delicious.
We went on a lovely hike down the road. This was a pretty cool tree.
 It was so much fun!
He was refusing to nap, and lined up all of his cars. He loves this car mat.
 Posing with his laser gun!
They were being so silly in the bath. I may have to post a video I got. Watch Reid toward the end... Hahaha!
Bleh.
He was enamored by the Elton John concert we were watching! He loves music. And his tutu.
Washing the dishes while Ruby was at school! We do a lot of chores together. It's really fun to have some one-on-one time with him.
We took off for the park in the afternoon on Wednesday. We all had a blast.
 He's so cute.
Me and my boy! We were playing out the back yard for a while, and he kept wanting me to make chimneys. I'm not sure what he meant!
I went into the back for about two minutes, and Reid tried to pour his own milk into his oatmeal... It could have been worse.
 Playing together nicely!
She was supposed to be taking a rest... and gave herself green chicken pox.
Ready for her hair cut! Janna asked how short she wanted it, and she put her hands way up at her ears. So we talked her down a ways. Haha
She did get about 6 inches cut off though! It was so long. But it's still beautiful, easier to comb now. And she still has her curls.
Reidsy does so good with getting his hair cut!
I love the pink clip and the mustache cape.
Hipster boy! He's so handsome.
The three of us together. I love these guys. After this, we dropped them off at the Cline's house, and Andy met us. We had to go to a very sad memorial service of an 18-year-old boy who had been in our youth group and committed suicide. It was not fun, but good to see people from down there and support some of the other kids and families. :(
