38 weeks: Stitches

Ruby had an injury at school this week and had to get stitches! It wasn't too bad, but still enough to send us to Urgent Care. She was very brave about everything.

I found some more photos from the zoo from last week that were too cute not to add. :)
 Watching the gazelles.
Reid doesn't like the bats, apparently they're too stinky. Haha!
We got a free hot chocolate for being zoo members, so the kids split it and loved it.
Reading a Star Wars book... this is when they found Luke's lightsaber.
"Reid is a sassy pants." Hahaha!
 Ruby loves playing Sequence!
We were watching Up and it was a little tense.
He loves playing with all kinds of things.
And he's getting great at crawling!
The boys and I had a play date. It was all tractors, cranes, and trains.
He doesn't take naps anymore, only every once-in-a-while. But that often makes him pretty tired during the day. I think it just takes him too long to fall asleep. He sure is cute though.
And such a good helper! He's been doing lots of chores, earning money to buy a special toy.
Sometimes he rolls over to his tummy, and then he sleeps really well. :)
The kids came into the kitchen looking for a really big pot, so then they could cook their lizard. They're the cutest.
And Reid put his shirt on like pants. Bahahahaha!
He's so cute when he falls asleep randomly.
Both big kids have big heads, so we had to get them larger size bike helmets. Reid loves his blue one.
 Trains!!
 Peek-a-boo!
We got him a new sweatshirt and he loves it. It's a little big but so cute.
She likes to finish her lunch right when she gets home from school every day. And we all sit at the table and chat for a while, it's great.
Apparently Ruby gave Reid her blue dress because she got some new ones. They love to dance when the music is going.
Oh they're so cute!!! They really love each other. They all three do.
Reid did a bunch of chores and earned money to buy a new grabber because his old one was broken. He was so excited and so motivated. I was very proud of him!
 They play the silliest things.
I got a call on Friday from the school (well, I missed the call and they called Patty as our backup who called me). Ruby fell during PE and split her chin open on the gym floor. Poor thing! I packed up the boys and picked her up at school. She had borrowed clothes because she bled all over hers. They thought it was a pretty deep/wide cut so I should take her in. We ended up at Urgent Care, which of course they ran around in while we waited.
When they took her back, she got a little woozy when they took off her bandaid. I had her lay down and gave her some water, and that helped.
She was so brave. Here's the cut! Ouch.
We played "I spy" while we were waiting for the numbing stuff to work.
He was a happy little guy while we waited.
Sweet girl. Reid, of course, was interested in everything, including when they stitched her up.
 All done!
Trying not to walk on the muddy grass while we went to our home community.
We had the foresight to bring their jammies and put them on before we headed home. They were all three asleep pretty quick! And then we put them straight into bed and it was lovely.
 Saturday morning monster drawing.
Her chin was hurting for the first day or so but then it felt better. She wanted to keep a bandaid on it all week.
 Me and my littlest cutie!
They found a worm while they were digging (their favorite thing to do outside). They named him Digger like they name every worm.
So we made a little worm home. And we found 4 others while we were getting more dirt, so we made it Digger's family. So cute.
Meanwhile, Andy fixed the stove for me. The burners were not working, and now it's so much better!
 Movie watching.
He likes it when we brush his teeth.
 Andy wrestling with his boys.
This is Ruby and her friend Zuri at Sunday School. Ruby is legitimately good at foos ball.
Such a good helper. Miles has really been liking eating and has been gaining weight since I've been feeding him more. He's turning into a chubby little guy.
We went to the Pullens for dinner and Andy borrowed a Sphero from the library. It's a little ball that you control with the iPad. The kids love it!
Reid built this crane all by himself. He's getting pretty good!
Making a road out of play dough.
He likes to buckle himself into Miles's high chair.
 And the crane gets destroyed...
They gave Miles the Sphero, and it was hilarious!
