Halloween! And Miles turns 18 months

For the week of 10/30-11/5
We had a fun Halloween this year! We invited some friends over and did trick-or-treating together. The kids got a lot of candy.
We bought this huge bear at Costco for cousin Frances, and Miles just loved it.
Ruby drew a person. Haha!
Reid got stuck on the drawer and thought it was funny.
Helping with chores.
They really are such good helpers! The boys especially love vacuuming.
Ruby got all dressed and ready for school! She was Batgirl.
I had fun making her costume.
We took her to school and then stayed for the K-2nd parade.
Here she is waving at us in the parade! She's so cute.
Reid had a Harvest party at his school. Here he is playing pumpkin Bingo.
His favorite thing was the bouncy house.
Miles got a turn too! He loved it!
When we got home Reid got his firefighter costume on.
And our little monkey, of course.
All ready for our friends to come!
Here are our friends! They were all so cute.
We went up to the neighborhood just north of us, they give out lots of great candy. Haha
See?!
They got a ton. They only ate one piece though and we still have some left almost a month later.
Miles turned 18 months on the 1st! He's such a delightful little boy. He's mostly happy all the time. He climbs on everything, and he's starting to get his back molars in. He loves to talk and is putting words together like "Hi Daddy" and today he said, "Night night bunny." It's so cute.

Here's a photo of all three of our kids at 18 months. They all look so different!
He had a good appointment and only needed one shot. He is in the 85th percentile for height, and the 45th for weight, so tall and thin. The doctor just loved how much he was talking.
Then we stopped at New Seasons afterward for a fun ride in the kid car.
Reid was tired at nap time, so he actually took a nap on the living room floor!
Game night! We played "Mother May I" and "Red Light, Green Light."
Ruby went to her friend's birthday party on Saturday. There were lots of kids from her class there and she had a blast.
Pretty butterfly.
We like to play games while Miles naps. Otherwise he messes it all up. Haha
Reid got to eat some Nerds and wanted them on his PB&J. Haha!
Post bath cutie.
All snuggled up and warm. Miles just loves his baths. Reid, not so much.
I helped in Miles's class on Sunday, and Ruby wanted to stay and help me too. We had fun!
Sleepy guy, he misses his nap on Sundays and usually falls asleep in the car on the way home. Thankfully we wake him up and he still takes his regular nap at about 1-ish.
That day was also the time change. We adjusted their bedtime by 15 minutes every night, but they were all still so tired they took a nap!

Both big kids love to read books to Miles. <3

Late October

For the week of 10/23-10/29
Here are our late October photos!
Ruby loves making these out of our names. Apparently Miles was sick (Illy) Hahaha.
Reid and Miles made a train.
Reid loves to help me bake! We made yummy cinnamon rolls for me to take to Mops. Miles pretty much has to be in his high chair when I do cooking or baking, or else I have to chase him around the house constantly and pull him off of the table.
On Thursday we had lots of friends over! Megan in the morning, and Hez and Izaiah in the afternoon.
 When Daddy comes home...
He brought me Reid's shoes to put on (he says "Shoe!") and then wanted to go outside.
 Baking during Miles's nap!
We made goat cheesecake and it was delicious.
Ruby made this document on the computer and her mind was blown when she realized we could print it and color on it. Haha!
 Reid loves coloring lately.
 Sword fight!
 Silly Miles.
On Saturday the weather was lovely and we went on a walk in Hillsboro.
Just FYI for feeding ducks! This is great to know!
 Such a pretty pond!
 The kids loved it.
And then we checked out the Hillsboro library. Ruby set up a little store and other kids were shopping at it.
Andy and Reid built this guy with giant Legos.
And Miles... he was running around all over the place! I overheard one kid say "That baby is wild!" Hahaha!
 My oldest and youngest.
Bath time! They hardly all three fit anymore, sows've been splitting them up most of the time.
Andy and I put the kids to bed, poured a drink, and then voted. :)
The kids like to "teach" at my desk. It's so cute!
 Pumpkin carving time.
Reid just wanted to poke holes.
 The final product. Haha!
Miles and I got two new fish while the other kids were at school. Sadly, I think the orange one (Lemon) brought some kind of disease. He died first, then we got a replacement, then they all three died! Now we are fishless and sad.
 Game time while Miles naps.
Sometimes he writes his name backwards. Haha! Ruby did the same thing. :)
