My baby turns ONE and a Fiesta!

Our baby is one!! He is such a joy to have in our family. And he is BUSY. He crawls super fast, sometimes in circles. Hahaha. And he puts everything in his mouth really quickly, and gets into everything. We love him so much! This last year has been so much fun with him. He's entering one of my favorite ages where he will learn to talk and walk. He's learning new things every day. He took his first few little steps on Monday! So exciting.

We put on a big Cinco de Mayo birthday party for our boys on Saturday. It was a ton of fun. My parents came up for the weekend and mom stayed for a few days extra to help out, which was SO nice and needed. I can hardly get anything done with Miles crawling around. Andy and I organized the garage and I went through our file cabinet, which was much needed. It sure is nice to have that done.

Ruby is coming home from school every day with new things she has learned. She just talked about all of the 3D shapes, like cylinders, cones, etc. She has such a sharp brain, I love it.

He woke up at 5AM on his birthday!! And so happy. :)
He got this dinosaur bank from us.
 And a new sleep sack.
He just started standing up last week and claps every time.
 Birthday photo.
Frances came over to play for a few hours and they had fun. Miles loves to poke, pull hair, and steal toys from other babies. Probably because he's bigger than most of them. Haha.
The boys are fascinated by anything that moves.
 Playing the keyboard together.
 That dimple!
We made banana muffins to celebrate. He wanted to touch his candle flame so bad.
Mmmm. Then he choked on it and puked. Hahaha
 Working on his tractor.
He eats his crust first, and he doesn't like the jam and peanut butter sides to be put together. Although he's forgiving when I forget.
He's getting really good at building trains! I helped with this one. :) We like to do it while Miles is napping.
He knows how to turn it on and turn the volume all the way up.
He's so happy most of the time! Seriously, we love it.
She has been writing letters to Grandma Patty and mailing them all on her own, it's so cute. I have no idea what they say.
 He found a dandelion.
Stuffing the piñata for the party!
 Sink bath.
Then Reid wanted one too. Hahaha! He was a little big.
Reid wanted Andy to work in his room for a little while.
She's getting good!
Reid, Miles, and I went to Revive to help out in the child care on Friday. We saw these adorable baby geese. <3
 Miles had so much fun!
He crawled up and slid down on his face.
 Watching the sprinkler go.

Mom and Dad made it up on Friday evening. I put Miles to bed, then Mom and I took the big kids to our Home Community while Dad and Andy built the kids' surprise playhouse!
They were so excited about a surprise in the morning that they woke up super early. Then Ruby accidentally saw it out of Miles's window before we were going to do the reveal, but they were so excited anyway. They love it so much!!
Ruby and I making the cake.
The boys were worn out and took a nice, long nap. Actually everyone except Ruby napped that day. :)
 Swinging at the piñata.
 Miles even got a try.
 Go Ruby!
Reid got a second try. Hahahaha
Chloe was the one to finally bust it open.
Gift time! The boys got a lot of fun stuff. Reid got a thing that measures while he walks, he thinks it is so fun.
Bubbles!
Cake time! Reid chose the Happy Birthday candles and of course wanted a blue cake. Inside is devil's food cake with chocolate ganache filling, and a vanilla buttercream frosting. It was really yummy.
 Our whole family. <3
 Mmmmmmm They loved it.
Miles was like this the whole time eating his cake, he loved it!
So yummy.
They got a fun little pop up tent from Katie, and Miles loves crawling around in it.
 Silly Ruby and Charlotte
They got these in the piñata. Sneaky Reid.
She loves her pop bead necklace. It's so hard to find time to get little things out like pop beads or Legos with Miles crawling and putting everything in his mouth. :( But we try to do it while he's asleep and clean it up thoroughly.
They have so much fun. Ruby was washing dishes.
On Monday I went through so much in the file cabinet. I found these cute pictures of Cindy and I as babies. I think Miles looks like me.
And Reid is the spitting image of Andy as a little boy.
Grandma was SUCH a big help with the kids. She kept them entertained and still had enough energy to fold the laundry and do the dishes. She's sure amazing!
Miles playing with the neighbors out in the back yard.
Grandpa helped Reid build his new Lego set.
Sticks!
