51 weeks: Sun!

We've had a fun week, the kids have been mostly sweet with each other. Ruby is having some difficult times with wanting control all of the time, but we're trying to figure it out. It's not easy though. We love her so much it's worth it.

Miles has been doing so good with his sleep training! He usually wakes up once to nurse, but one night this week he slept all the way until 5:45. If we follow his schedule and put him to bed at the right times, he usually falls right to sleep pretty quickly. If we miss his sleepy window he still cries for a while, but he really is doing well. It's nice to have our bed back! Also his afternoon naps have been longer, which has been nice as well.

 Ruby lost her 8th tooth!
Miles hung out with me during my workout and loved it.
The boys are really starting to play together, and it's the cutest.

Eating some ice cream in a laundry basket. This is what being a kid is all about.
Ruby wanted to read bedtime stories. She's doing so good with her reading!
Sound asleep... zzzzzz He has turned into a tummy sleeper.
The boys and I took our Accord to Jiffy Lube. Reid had fun playing in the waiting room while we got our transmission and radiator fluids changed.
Miles loves black beans! He actually loves almost anything I put on his tray.
This is from Ruby's morning work at school. She usually gets "quality work" on each page. :) On this one she tried writing "bouquet" (but spelled it bowqet) and then wrote "smell" instead. Hahaha
 I love baby bunses.
He had a stick balanced on another stick!
The weather has been gorgeous out! Finally! Reid and I spent some time outside while Miles napped.
 Digging away.
 "Are me strong?"
I tried getting a picture of her freckles she's starting to get. She's so cute.
He loves his bedtime stories. I put him to bed usually between 5:45 and 6:15 every night.
While I was doing that, Andy and the big kids were doing the dishes!
 Reid had fun washing.
 Snuggling the next morning.
The boys and I had a fun play date at the park with some of our home community friends. I sure miss Ruby when we do stuff like that.
Happy wakeup time.
We went on a long walk/bike ride in the afternoon. Reid's doing really good on his big bike with training wheels. He kept saying "Gotta get speed!"
 Reading out in the sunshine.
He's got his water bottle all figured out. It took me forever to teach Ruby how to drink from hers. Hahaha
We found these gorgeous blooms on our walk. They're called Camilia and I want one!

Friday night I stayed home and put Miles to bed while Andy took the big kids over to STEAM night at Ru's school. Her class did a science fair experiment, she was pretty proud. :)
Plying with the green screen.
Haha! She wanted to be out in the ocean.
Saturday morning we ran some errands, including returning a few things at the mall. Ruby was just having the best time and wanted to stop everywhere.
Poor Miles is getting his lower molars, and his right side got an eruption cyst. It was a purple fluid filled lump. Ouch!! Thankfully it's a lot better now.
We planted some things in our garden! We did spinach, lettuce, cucumbers, basil, cilantro, parsley, beets, and some flowers. Hopefully they'll come up!
The boys love watching Andy mow.
And Miles loved his roasted butternut squash risotto.
Hugging during singing time at Sunday School. We taught Ruby's class and Reid wanted to stay with us too.
Last night Ruby was almost asleep and I went in there. She said, "Mom, can you make a kids menu? With coloring too?" So I went out and make a kids menu for breakfast today. :)

They chose the French Toast Sticks.
We went to Baby Time at the library, which Miles loved! He's about ready for the Fun for One's group now though. :)
