Now the big kids get the pukies...

Miles was feeling much better when he woke up Tuesday morning, but we still quarantined ourselves for 24 hours (well, except we walked to the park to play for a little bit, but outside = less germs). But then on Thursday night, both Ruby and Reid started puking within 30 minutes of each other! Ruby had it so bad her stomach was just hurting and hurting. She kept asking me to take her to the hospital. :( Thankfully after about the 6th time she threw up, she felt a lot better and slept the rest of the night. Reid only puked twice, but he got a 102 degree fever all of the next day, poor guy. Thankfully by Saturday they were recovered, but Andy started feeling sick. I felt nauseated on Friday but never threw up or anything, thank the Lord. It's so hard to take care of kids when you're the sick one.
 Swing time!
On Wednesday the kids had friends from down the street over and had fun in the back yard.
Reid was hungry and made his own butter and jam sandwich!

I got these headphones for the kids for school. School supplies were ridiculous this year! But they love their new headphones. :)
 She's so pretty.
Miles says, "I pray like this..."
Reid started speech therapy this week in Portland. His evaluation showed the sounds he makes are about equivalent to a 3 year old. :/ But he has excellent sentence structure and grammar, so that's great. We're working on the "s" sound for now, then we'll move on to "th" and "r" later. He'll get there! The boys had fun in the waiting room.
So did Ruby, she colored Moana.
I love it when they read...
We got Olaf the bunny to borrow for the week. The boys had lots of fun with him in their tractor trailer. Unfortunately I started getting an itchy throat and congestion... I'm pretty sure I'm allergic to him. I took Claratin which really helped, but I guess no bunnies for us. I remember getting a bunny (Shadow) for a few days as a kid but Dad was allergic so we had to give it back.
We walked up the hill and there are blackberries ready to pick! Yum!!!
We had a play date with Dana and the boys on Thursday. We all had fun! They have tons of clover and a neighbor with bees, so there were a bazillion honey bees everywhere. I'm so surprised no one got stung!
Miles loves taking out the tractors and playing on Reid's bed. It's the cutest thing.
 Playing restaurant.
We went to check out the bulldozer across the street. The big kids started getting cranky... little did we know they were getting sick.
We had gotten a new umbrella stroller to take to Disneyland in December, but it was a cheaper one and Reid broke the brakes on one side within a month (he breaks everything!). So we found this used Uppababy (the same brand as our big stroller) on Craigslist for just a little bit more. We love it! Andy's only concern is that it's the same color as the Disneyland rental strollers. Hah! I think we're officially ready to sell our big stroller, although it makes me sad. We've really loved that thing.
Friday morning... I was so tired. They puked from about 9-1 or 2, so I was up during that, then I tried sleeping on Ruby's bed for a while just to be close. Thankfully they settled down and I slept the rest of the night in my bed.
Reid got his fever in the morning and Ruby's temp was up a little bit on and off throughout the day. They both wanted to lay around though, so we had a movie day. Thankfully I had just gotten the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe from the library! They loved it. We've been listening to the Narnia  dramatized version in the car and love it. I had to keep Miles occupied though... and did a TON of laundry.
Feeling a lot better on Saturday! But we still had an at home day. We built a train track with some buildings out of Legos, Magna Tiles, and blocks.
We missed Ruby's half birthday on Friday because of sickness, so we celebrated on Saturday with zucchini muffins. :)
Ruby made this cute tea party.
 And we made garden art!
Reid's on the top (with a "tractor tree"), Ruby's on the left, Miles's on the right.
Andy made us all milkshakes and we had fresh blackberries on Saturday evening.
 Milkshake mustache.
Sink bath!
Andy was feeling a little better on Sunday, but still not great. So we stayed home and built a train track.
Then we went to Blackberry Park for a picnic in the evening.
 Pizza!
 Mmmm
 Watching Mommy pick blackberries.
He loves blackberries so much he will try anything to get more!
