11 Weeks

This is Ruby on Tuesday night, almost 11 weeks old. She's really turning out to be such a sweetheart! She loves to cuddle. I'm guessing she's getting close to 15 pounds now (I have muscly arms now). She's really starting to enjoy when I read her stories too. Here are some photos from this week.
Last night smiling while getting a bath from Daddy.
Crossed eyes during tummy time! She's really kicking around, so she'll probably roll over soon.
Poor Ruby had lots of carseat time this week. She was making lots of cute faces at me.

Wearing a pink sweater that I wore when I was a baby, and snuggling with a quilt of mine.
Playing Bang with Daddy.
We went down to my parents' house for Easter. Here's her Easter outfit that she then pooped on :) At least we got some pictures first.
All snuggly at the Easter Sunrise service in my new Baby Hawk Mei Tai carrier :) Thanks for the birthday gift Mom and Dad!
This turned out to be the theme of the weekend.

Everyone has to have one of those baby in the laundry basket pictures. It really is much more convenient to carry the laundry and her together in the basket!

Playing with Mommy.
She has the cutest little cowlick.

10 Weeks

Our little Ruby is getting to be so expressive! She's so much fun to interact with. She loves looking at people's faces and making faces back. She's been sleeping most of the way through the night for at least a week, which has been nice. Her dark blue eyes are so pretty, and her hair is starting to grow. I love being at home with her. I gave my notice at work yesterday, so in two weeks I'll go back for two weeks. Her Grandma's are coming to hang out with her, so that will be fun (but hard for me).
She loves when I read her stories (at least she likes looking at the pictures).
We love her cloth diapers! So cute!!
Her doggy Annabelle who likes to sneak in licks.
Minnie Mouse hat from Uncle Randy! It's a little big still, but will fit great when we go to Disneyland in November :)
Cute smile
Nap time with Grandma Patty
So precious. In the purple sweater I made.
And the blue sweater I made.
Aunt Becca wanted to measure her cheeks because they are soooo chubby. :)

9 Weeks

Miss Ruby turned two months old on Monday. At the Doctor's office on Tuesday she weighed 13 lbs 15 oz!! That puts her in the 98th percentile for weight. She sure likes to eat :) She's such a sweet baby. This week she started sleeping full time in her bassinet, and she also started sleeping a 5-6 hour stretch every night. That has been nice to get so much sleep. She'll wake up around 3am, and then sometimes at 5:30 or so, but sometimes sleeps until 7. She's talking up a storm, too, and loves looking at things and playing with her toys. Well, at least looking at us show her them.
Long eyelashes!
She's about to find her thumb to suck on.
Lots of tummy time and smiles.
Baby with Mommy.
Push-ups!
Baby talking to Daddy.
Sound asleep.
She loves going for walks.
Smile!
Our little rocker.

8 Weeks

Ruby's getting such a cute personality! She loves staring at pictures on the wall, and is making all kinds of cute faces and noises at Andy and I. She's just adorable and so fun to be around. She has a cold again and has been stuffed up, but she is very cuddly and loves napping while being held.

We had lots of visitors over the weekend, starting with our friends Jake and Cassie and their two kids Elizabeth and William. Elizabeth was very good at noticing when Ruby spit out her pacifier and let us know every time. Then Andy's parents came down, and then my parents came up. It was lots of fun to see our families.
Sound asleep today.
Naps are for sissies :)
Surprise!
She's getting so good at tummy time. All kinds of head control.

7 Weeks

Our sweet baby is getting so smiley this week! I love waking up in the morning to a big smile. She's just on the upper end of her 0-3 month clothes. Some fit larger than others though, so we may be able to use them for another little bit. We have tons of short sleeved onesies for 3-6 months, but I'll have to get some long sleeved onesies to go under them because it's still so cold.

I took Ruby to Norpac yesterday, and one of the girls there had a baby December 16th who is only 10 lbs something now. My baby is way bigger than her! Hah. We like to grow them big :) I'm wondering if she'll be chubby as a little baby, then thin out as she starts crawling and walking. I love the chub. She also has a cute tuft of hair on the top of her head that's longer than the rest, and a little mullet in the back too.

I'm trying to keep track of when she eats and sleeps during the day to see if there's any sort of pattern... As of today (day two of tracking) there's nothing. It would be nice if she would eat/sleep on a schedule, but I'm not going to force it. I don't think she's ready for that and probably won't be for a while. Most nights she sleeps pretty well, but she slept a lot yesterday, so she didn't sleep good until midnight last night. I'll have to try to keep her up a little more today. It's hard though when her eyes just keep closing.

We're having lots of visitors this weekend. Our friends the Lloyds are coming for dinner tomorrow night, and then the Pullens on Saturday and my parents on Sunday. Yay!
More tummy time! Working on that head control.
She looks little on the big bed.
I love her cloth diapers.
Reading time!
Happy baby :)
My favorite picture.

She's such a big girl!
