Heading down for Christmas! And Miles gets sick

For the week of 12/18-12/24
Miles got sick this week. :( He threw up in the morning on Wednesday, and then again in the evening and once in the night. Thankfully that was all and he was fine otherwise. It must have been something he ate (he does scrounge around the floor for crumbs occasionally).
Randall and Sophie flew in on Friday night and I picked them up from the airport. Then we headed down south on Saturday morning after stopping at Joel and Dana's for breakfast!
Miles loves to read books while I change him. He always says "Book! Book!"
Trying out my new sous vide! It made delicious pork chops.
We got the kids Twister for Christmas, so fun.
 Poor sick baby. :(
And then he made macaroni and cheese.
The big kids and I made cookies during Miles's nap after they got home from school on Wednesday.
 It was so fun!
Reid made quite a cute candy cane.
 The finished products.
Reid drew this picture to give to his teachers.
Ruby drew a portrait of me! Hahaha
Miles felt all better in the morning. So thankful.
 Story time!
Time for our road trip! Our kids did pretty good in the car, Miles was a bit fussy from time to time. He just didn't get it. They read lots of books.
And they got to ride Grandpa's tractor when we got there!
 So fun.
We got all of the cousins these cute Christmas jammies!
The big kids had a slumber party in the living room. Grandma and Grandpa put them all to bed while we got to go out. :)
The girls loved having a little cousins club in Grandma and Grandpa's new closet.
 Checking out Mt. Shasta.
Miles did not sleep great while we were there, unfortunately. He just likes his own bed I guess. :(
We went to church in the morning and Reid got to blow out the advent candles.
Afternoon zzzzzzzzzzzz while we watched super old videos of us when we were little.
We went to the DeRosses for Emily and Ian's engagement party! The boys loved the slide.
Miles's first taste of sparkling cider...
He wasn't sure at first but ended up liking it.
Miles and Marcus are just over 2 weeks apart in age. Miles was eyeing his cookie...
 "I'll take that!" Haha
Miles climbed up on the piano stool to look at baby Jesus. <3
Laying out by the Christmas tree.
 Fishing!
We went into Yreka on the 24th and walked around Miner Street.
We found this super cute book store.
Ruby and Andy made a blueberry pie to surprise Reid! (Blueberries are his favorite.)
Ruby liked wearing Grandma's reading glasses.
Miles loved the old rocking horse.
We got them in jammies for the Christmas Eve service. :)
 They did great.
Ruby was being super careful with her candle.
 :)
