Disneyland Day 2

12/15 Day 2!! We got up early (of course), and went to California Adventure!
Here's our packed snacks and lunch for the day. These kids eat a lot. It saved us soooooo much money though.
We waited for the top to drop, and the lighting was just gorgeous. Isn't she pretty?
We went straight to Soarin', and Andy went on it with the big kids.
Meanwhile, Miles found his toy of choice at the gift shop across the street, Lightning McQueen that lights up and spins.
And then Ruby found hers, this bubble wand that plays music.
We headed over to Cars Land and rode on Mater's Junkyard Jamboree.
It turned out to be one of our favorites!
I took the big kids over to Radiator Springs Racers! Reid was pretty freaked out the whole time and it was very difficult to get him to go in the car. They actually stopped the ride when we were on and asked him if he wanted to go. He said no, so we had to wait a long time. Then he changed his mind and said yes, but since they had stopped it, they were going to make us get off. They finally just let us go and we had a great time. Silly Reid.

Ruby made a friend while we were in line, which was fun!
They're both in 2nd grade.
Andy and the kids got in line for Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters while I ran over to get fast passes for Andy and Ruby to go on the tower of terror. She later changed her mind, and thankfully I got back just in time to catch the ride.
 Bubble fight!
Back on Mater's tractor ride again!!
Wheeee!!!!
We headed over to Pixar Pier next. Miles got so sleepy so he napped on my back...

...so Andy and Ruby did the Incredicoaster!! She loved it. While they were doing that the boys and I got in line for Toy Story Midway Mania. That line was like 45 min long, so Miles got a nice nap in.
This really was our favorite ride! So fun and worth the wait!!
 Jessie's Critter Carousel.
We were all pretty tired by that point, so we went into the building and did Turtle Talk with Crush.
Then we went into the Animation Academy and drew a picture of Sally from the Nightmare Before Christmas.
It was so fun! The kids loved it, and rest for our feet was lovely.
Even Miles got into it. Haha
 Ruby's finished drawing.
By that point, the line to meet Anna and Elsa had gotten really short (it was previously an hour!), so we waited in that.
It was so special! I'm glad we did it.

We were all so tired at that point! We did a lot of kid carrying.
We went back to Soarin' because Ruby wanted to do it again. Unfortunately the ride broke while we were sitting waiting for it to start! We had to sit there for at least 20 minutes until they finally got it working again. Poor Andy had to keep the boys occupied that whole time. Then we had dinner across the street.
Reid saw these bears and really wanted a picture with them. Hah!

We had snagged Fast Passes for Midway Mania for late in the evening, so we ran over there to do it one more time. And we saw Woody and Bo Peep!
It ended up being a perfect end to the night. Then we went back and crashed! Andy and I were asleep before Miles even settled down. Hah!
