Home from vacation

For the week of 12/17-12/23
We headed home from Disneyland exhausted, but so happy. I'm so glad we went when we did, especially considering the current global pandemic. It was such a lovely trip and we had so much fun together.
Waking the kids up super early to head to the airport. We had a bunch of food left, so we brought it. And we bought breakfast there. I think our flight left at about 9.
We bought Bubble Bum boosters for the two big kids, and those worked really well for our Lyft rides.
Changing a toddler in an airplane bathroom is not easy!! The kids all did great on the flight home.
Made it! Hello PDX! Patty came and picked us up at the airport. And then we ate some lunch in the car, then came home and crashed for the rest of the day. Whew!!
 He loves sink baths. Hah!
Ruby got all of these fancy clothes out for us and had us put them on for a fancy dinner. :)
Candles and everything. She's so cute.
Reid got to make a Gingerbread guy at school.
That's his on the bottom... so cute.
I had to run errands with Miles, so I took him out to DQ for an ice cream cone. :)
Hair cut time! I got a curly cut, which was fun.
Friday was pajama day for the kids. They got to play games with their buddies.
 Here's Reid with his buddy.
Ruby accompanied me to Trader Joe's. We love getting the samples.
Miles likes to peel his own oranges, which I love. It occupies him for quite a while.
 Dancing time!
Joel and Dana brought us this huge box to play with! Always so fun.
Ruby drew our little bathroom mirrors. Hah!
The Pullen adults all went out to Serratto for dinner to celebrate Christmas. It was so fun, and nice to all get to chat without kids. Joel and Dana came over to watch ours, which was so nice.
 Christmas story time.
 Summersaults off the couch.
We all caught a pretty bad cold at Disneyland. Poor Miles had a little fever for a day or two.
So sad. :( He was just so tired and cuddly.
Ruby made a list of months.
 Feeling slightly better...
I'm really not sure what's happening here... I think we were at the doctor to take Miles in and there was some snow? Or something?
Miles had been coughing pretty bad, so we took him in. He was ok though.
Starting to feel better. Thankfully it was just mild and we all got better quickly.

I forgot to talk about our broken tv... right during Black Friday weekend we were cleaning the house. We both heard a loud smack noise in the living room, but didn't think anything of it. That night when we went to watch a TV show after the kids were in bed, we saw it... Miles had cracked the whole left side of the screen! I'm cheap, so I said we'd just have to deal with it for now.
We are so thankful... Joel and Dana had an extra TV that they weren't using! So they gave it to us. Andy installed it up on the wall this time so it's a little safer and much better.
