This week we have been blessed with several days of gorgeous sunshine! Rare for us in March. So we've been outside a bit to enjoy it. The sad thing is that Ruby caught a nasty cold (probably from the nursery on Sunday), and now I'm getting it too. She's been really grumpy and has thrown lots of tantrums over the last few days. Sleeping has not been great either, with her coughing or not being able to breathe out of her nose. It's really sad to have a sick kid. Hopefully we will both be on the mend soon.
She loves riding her bike with Daddy.
And she likes driving the car too. :)
Saturday morning we had a coffee/sticky bun date at Panezanellie. So good.
She had lots of fun and drank most of her steamer.
Then we went through the car wash ("car dryer"). She got to ride in the front just to go through it, and did not like it one bit. She spent the whole time cuddled up on my lap.
Coloring with Mommy.
We went outside to play and read magazines. It was lovely.
And then we took pictures of our scooter to sell. She had fun playing on it.
Cuddling on the bed with Mommy.
On Sunday we had a potluck at church, and she had fun running around.
Riding on Daddy.
Sunday night we stopped by before youth group and she had some popcorn which she loved.
Monday morning we went out to breakfast to use the last of our Word of Mouth Bistro gift card, and then I took Ruby to ride the carousel. Her horse was named Gigi like our chicken, and Ruby kept saying it was a "Gigi horse."
She and Pauline had fun.
She likes to pretend to take naps in our bed, her crib, or the couch.
She wanted to put a diaper on Woody.
I took her to the dentist on Tuesday and she let them look in her mouth with the mirror, but she really didn't want them near her with the tooth polisher. Maybe next time. Her teeth look really good though now.
Lounging.
She had a ton of fun jumping from our bed frame onto our bed on Tuesday. It was pretty cute.
Out for a stroll.
When Daddy got home we went to the park to play for a little bit, and she came home with very muddy boots.
She made a caterpillar out of her grapes.
Yesterday she took forever to get to sleep for her nap, and then she woke up crying and crying about 45 minutes later because she didn't feel good. So I went in there and she fell asleep on me, so I just sat there for a long time. It was lovely.
Giving Mommy a massage.
She wanted to unlock the garage and tried really hard.
On her roller skates with Aunt Becca.
Walking through the tunnel at the park.
Mmm... tomato soup.
This morning we were at the Butenschoen's house and Ruby took a tumble down their stairs from about 3/4 of the way up. She had on play high heels and was attempting to come down. I checked her for broken bones or anything serious, but she seems fine other than the scrape on her cheek. It was scary for both of us!
She tried to diaper her book with a wash cloth. Silly Ruby.
